Richard Greene Scholar

In recognition of my service and leadership within the city of Arlington and my school, I was selected as the 2004-2005 Richard Greene Scholar. A former mayor of Arlington, Richard Greene was influential in bringing the Texas Rangers baseball team and stadium development to Arlington. And for his service the team named a scholarship in his honor. Along with the Scholarship came a full year internship with the City of Arlington, Arlington Independent School District, Arlington Chamber of Commerce, River Legacy Parks System, Mission Arlington, and University of Texas at Arlington working on various projects throughout the year in support of their missions.
